Seattle, Washington – Work on the City of Seattle Mercer Corridor Project West Phase has been completed. Belarde Company’s scope of work included roadway concrete paving, curb and gutters, sidewalks, and other smaller items. Due to the high volumes of traffic in the Mercer Corridor, most of the work on this project was conducted at night. The Mercer West Project will complete the two-way Mercer Street connection between I-5 and 5th Avenue West. The project, which began construction in early 2013, widens Mercer St. between Dexter Ave. N and 5th Ave. N for two-way traffic. Guy Atkinson Construction is the general contractor.
