Bellevue, Washington – The Grand Opening of the ” Completing the Circle ” project at Bellevue’s Downtown Park took place Wednesday, June 28th. The completion of the project was the result of many years of planning and funding raising by city leaders. The construction provided a challenge as the majority of the work was completed during the winter months in order to meet a very tight schedule so that the project would be completed in time for the annual Fourth of July celebration that takes place in the park. The Belarde Company installed a variety of architectural concrete elements to the project highlighted by a Lithocrete/Lithomosaic design creating a stream-like effect in the splash pad play area.
