Olympia, Washington – As the temperatures rose over eighty degrees in the State’s Capitol, families, and especially the children, enjoy the Easy Bay Public Plaza’s artificial stream feature built by the Belarde Company.  This beautiful setting is made up a Lithocrete sedimentary walls system that blends into a concrete stream bed that is embedded with stones, large rocks, boulders, and various brass sculptures. The warm summer day brings families out to use the park in the manner that the architect envisioned.  The East Bay Public Plaza, owned and operated by the LOTT Clean Water Alliance, serves as the heart of the East Bay district near downtown Olympia. The plaza features many water-themed educational elements and sustainable features, celebrated through artwork, interpretive elements, a wetland pond, and a wading stream.
