The Washington Aggregates & Concrete Association (WACA) held its annual Excellence in Concrete Awards Banquet Thursday, May 4th. The SR 520 Floating Bridge & Landings Project, won this year’s award for the Public Works – Bridges category. The Project Team included: Owner – WSDOT; General Contractor – Kiewit/General/Manson, A Joint Venture; Concrete Contractor – Belarde Company; Architectural Firm – Helix; Structural Engineer – KPFF.
