The Washington Aggregates & Concrete Association (WACA) held its annual Excellence in Concrete Awards Banquet Wednesday, April 27th. The Belarde Company was this year’s winner for the Artistic & Decorative Concrete Award. The award winning project was the South End Recreational & Adventure Campus (SERA) Playground & Spraypark Improvements in Tacoma, Washington. The owner/developer of the project was Metropolitan Parks District of Tacoma. The landscape architect was Bruce Dees & Associates.
