Olympia, Washington – The “Music Out Loud” project that has been envisioned by Olympia community leaders for over four years has finally come to fruition. The Belarde Company of Seattle fabricated and set the pieces in place using the Lithomosaic system around downtown Olympia. The artist designers involved in the project are Michele A. Burton, Jennifer Kuhns and Nathan Barnes. The pieces can be found at Capitol Way and 5th Avenue, on Washington Street in front of The Washington Center and near City Hall at 4th and Chestnut. The city will dedicate the mosaics during Olympia Spring Arts Walk 2018 on April 28 and provide festival-goers with a tour of the project.
