Warner Springs, CA –   As a member of the American Society of Concrete Contractors (ASCC) the Belarde Company is an active member in its Decorative Concrete Council (DCC).  The DCC for several years has engaged in an inspiring activity where they identify a worthy organization that has a decorative concrete project that they would like completed.  Often the identified organizations do not have the financial resources to carry out the projects.   The DCC members provide the volunteer tradespeople and donate the materials to install a decorative concrete system that fulfills the need for the organization.

This year, the DCC project, led by Byron and Chris Klemaske, completed a beautiful project for the Warner Unified School District.  Belarde Company foreman, Alex Aguilar, traveled to Southern California to volunteer his experience working with sedimentary walls and Lithomosaic systems.  The project called, Walk of Inspiration, features Lithomosaic designs of the logos of the Mesa Grande of Mission Indians, Iípay Nation of Santa Ysabel, and Los Coyotes Band of Cahuilla & Cupenos Indians.  The majority of the students in the school are members of these local tribes.   We were proud to be part of this project and wish to thank everyone involved in contributing to this worthy cause.
